I’m so excited to share one of the most practical and meaningful perks of membership at Deserving of Joy: Direct Primary Care.
Attached, you’ll find a flyer outlining our in-house pricing for common medications, labs, and injections. These are services I use every day in family medicine, and I’m proud to offer them at remarkably low, transparent cash prices.
For many people, even those with insurance, high deductibles and surprise bills have made routine care stressful and expensive. At Deserving of Joy, we do things differently. By removing the insurance middleman, we’re able to offer straightforward, affordable pricing for services you often need most — no claims, no billing confusion, and no waiting weeks for a statement in the mail.
Importantly, these cash-pay options are always a choice, not a requirement.
If you have excellent insurance that covers labs, imaging, or medications well, I am still happy to send orders to any hospital lab, imaging center, or pharmacy, just as I always have. You can continue using your insurance exactly as you did before. The in-house pricing simply gives you another option when it makes sense.
For our current members, this is one more way to say: you made a really good choice. Your membership was designed to simplify care, reduce costs, and make it easier to take care of your health without hesitation.
